A great start to the year

After a few short weeks at the end of January and February, the year is now underway in earnest. After the growth in the events in 2006 and the demand for coaching, we have had to broaden our foundations, both in personnel and facilities this year. We have almost completed creating an additional 800 sq. ft of usable office/administration/meeting space.

Preparation for the detail of the events and technical and administration issues are well advanced. Actually some are six months ahead of where we were last year and in fact, are probably more advanced than at any time during Promise Keepers New Zealand’s history.

We would appreciate your prayer as we continue to develop theming and speakers over the next month. It is crucial that we experience the anointing of God’s Holy Spirit over these preparations, as otherwise it simply becomes a human effort and the results reflect that.

There is a growing sense of excitement as Dean Comerford, the National Coaching Co-ordinator for New Zealand, and coached churches begin to connect and men’s ministries are propelled to a new level of effectiveness and success. Check out the coaching section of the website if you wish to be involved in this. At this time of year Men’s Ministries need to be strengthening their team. We are helping churches work out how many guys are needed to lead Men’s Ministry and what the job descriptions are.
