The Halfway Point: 4 Events completed, one more to go
Seven weeks ago, FUEL launched in Dunedin. In two weeks time, it wraps up in Auckland. The halfway point refers to attendance - half the men attending FUEL will be at the Auckland Event. So far the vibes are just fantastic with lots of extremely postive feedback so it is exciting to look forward to what God will do at FUEL Auckland. I am currently doing some tweaking to the program that will make some improvements and fine tune the Event.
We appreciate all our friends who support Promise Keepers and invite friends along. To help them, we advertise so that awareness is already there when PK is discussed and invitations are extended. Auckland is a big, expensive and difficult market to reach. We target our limited resources through the Rhema network to connect with Christians. Then we use outdoor signs and TV ads to reach a mass market. TV is obviously expensive so is limited in spending. Outdoor has opportunities but is an organisational and logistical nightmare and just plain hardwork. Although we have many great guys on the signage teams, John and I both get out there locating sites and erecting signs. If you can help great. But even if you can't, how about offering a prayer each time you see a PK sign and think about what is happening?
Roll on Auckland. It will be massive, exciting and unique. Get in before it is sold out.
